Dear Fluent users,

I try to automate a time step change by using a journal file.
Quote:
file read-case filename.cas
file read-data filename-000.dat

solve set time-step 0.00125
solve dual-time-iterate 50 50

solve set time-step 0.00160
solve dual-time-iterate 50 50

solve set time-step 0.002
solve dual-time-iterate 50 50

exit y
When I use this journal file, the first 50 time steps can be calculated. Then the simulation stop and I can read on the output file that:

Quote:
Flow time = 6.425904s, time step = 11695

Warning: An error or interrupt occurred while reading the journal file.
Some commands may not have been completed.

> adapt/ file/ report/
define/ mesh/ solve/
display/ parallel/ surface/
exit plot/ views/

> adapt/ file/ report/
define/ mesh/ solve/
display/ parallel/ surface/
exit plot/ views/

> Halting due to end of file on input.
did someone encounter the same problem ? Or does someone know how to create a journal file to increase the time step automatically.

Thank you for your help.
