could you help me about "moving boundary layer" ?

1)i have got a cylinder with thickness of 1cm and its closed from one side and we put one hot fluid in it and its getting cooled by time and gets solid from r=R and i have got a boundary layer which moves near the center. i dont know how to enter it to fluent.
more informations:
this system is at t=0 at 150degree and that fluid changes to solid at 120 degree.
2)and i entered my boundary conditions and i want to know are they correct or
not.
3)is the thickness of wall from our pressure inlet ?
4)if we want to mesh the fluid we HAVE TO define a face for that?(i mean i emptied the cylinder and now i cant mesh the fluid)
please help me...ITS ERGENT.... :(
