quick divergence in air-water multihpase system?

I am modeling an air-water system using Eulerian multiphase model, and the air is primary phase and water is secondary phase. But my calculation diverges very quickly. I can only run it if I decrease the water droplet size below 200 microns and increase the density of air dramatially (at least 5 times). There is a pretty strong swirling flow in my geometry and my mesh quality is good.

Does anybody have similar experience with this? What's the reason for that?

Thanks!
