hey i simulated a fully filled pipeflow with 2 connected pipes (in different angels) with k-e-realizable, now afterwards i am wondering if i should have checked "specified shear" instead of "no-slip".

I am now not sure about this. nomally i would say "no-slip" is right because of turbulent boundary layer, says velo at wall = 0. But when i say "no-slip", thus velocity at wall = 0, wouldnt that mean that the material from the pipe (roughness high) would have no effect on the flow?

I am just a bit confused right now ^^
