Default Non gray model in DO radiation model in Fluent

Hi all,

in Disecrete ordinates (DO) radiation model, i have come accross with non-gray and gray band modelling. Can somebody please explain what does the non-gray and gray bands mean in Fluent.

Quick answer: Did a quick Google search for "Fluent gray modelling"... and found this post: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/flu...tml#post398642 post #3 - it seems to explain this issue in detail.
