moving free surface with VOF

hi;
I use the VOF to simulate a fluide with a free surface between two concentric cylinders, the inner is rotating, the outer is stationnary.

the problem is that I can't see the agitation ( the free surface shape) causing by the rotation and the radial .deformation of the inner cylinder.

what i have to do? any help please?

Hi,

did you already try to make an ISO surface? Use "phases" and a value of 0.5 in the ISO surface menu.

The free surface will appear as a surface and is easy to visualize during the post processing (for example with contours -> phase).

hi,
did you patch the volume fraction of water in domain and checked the phase contour before iterating?
after solution, what is the shape of phase contours?
yours,
Mohammad
