How can I calculate Swirl number at different heights in a column |

I have a cylindrical column with swirling flow. I want to calculate swirl number at different positions along the height of the column. How can I calculate it using Fluent12.1 can any one help please?

I think the swirl nr is not a default value in Fluent. So first go to Define/Custom Field Functions
Than, you should creat planes and in the Report menu, you can check at each plane. |

mali28: how did you define your swirl number? I mean did you use custom field function? if so what is your equation? Please let me know.
