AlexAlex is on a distinguished road
I am getting ready to work on a 2D thin plate oscillating (pitch) about its CG (small omega and small angles) in infinite fluid (no free-surface) problem.
I have two questions:
-Is symmetry assumption (about the vertical axis through CG) valid? A previous study was for parallel oscillations (heave) and symmetry was good.
-Dynamic meshing is to be used. Is there a built-in UDF in ANSYS-Fluent 13 that can be used to model the motion of the body so dynamic meshing is to be implemented.
I am new to Dynamic meshing so any suggestions are appreciated.
Alex
