I have divided my domain into some parts for the meshing purpose. I used ANSYS Workbench for the meshing. When I import this mesh in Fluent, the boundaries of these divided parts show up as 'wall' instead of 'interior'. That is why I'm unable to integrate all the divided parts to form the whole domain.

Please help!!

Thanks!!

Acutally there are many unanswered questions rising from your problem, could you explain more in detail (pictures may help) or may be try this as--

first you start the serail version of fluent and read the first mesh and then for the second mesh-->append case file (mesh->zone->append), this combines two mesh files into a sinle mesh file.

shubhankar,

please see the following post: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/flu...tml#post331186

Hopefully that helps. The I recommend using "form new part" option in Design Modeler to make each subpart into one part since you don't need separate cell zones in your flow problem.
