Hi everybody,

I'm very new in using FLUENT. I would like to know on, how to solve condensation problems ? Which models to use ?

My problem involves sending a mixture of AIR + Sat.STEAM over a flat plate and calculating the mass fraction over the plate.

Awaiting Ideas. Thank you in advance.

Hi,
Fluent has a very simple model to simulate condensation and/or boiling. It works based on semi-empirical coefficients and you can find the related panel under phases...--> interactions...
But best is to write a UDF for computing the flux of water vapor into liquid film.
Gool Luck
