Sir,
I am doing my M.tech in cad/cam in VIT University.. Iam doing my research work in the area of CFD, topic "Heat transfer analysis in core and cavity of Plastic in injection mould".. Here, I need to give it by Solidification and Melting in FLUENT.. I feel difficult to give the liquid fraction, source terms and also the other parameters.. NOTE: In injection moulding process, the molten plastic enters into the core and cavity area and gets filled up. After filling liquid water is passed through the 6 cooling channels provided for cooling the molten plastic to gets solidified. So, here liquid plastic is changed into solid plastic, hence we need to give the liquid fraction which varies from 0 to1. Please do the needful.. |
