the initialization of the coupled level set method and vof model in FLUENT 13.0

I am recently starting to use the coupled level set method and vof model in FLUENT 13.0 to capturing the interface in two-phase incompressible flow, and the initialization of the level set function makes me very confused. How can I finish the initialization?
Can I use the default value 0? If not, what value should I set in the level set function?
Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot.

me too, everytime I start calculation, i got the following error
Primitive error at node 0: fill cell VOF distance: invalid number of nodes on the face.

have you solve the problem yet?

I haven't encounter your problem, and I set the level set function value=0, the free surface can be captured, but it is not so clear, so I woder if my initialization was wrong.
