Hi All
i have a simple question but makes me confused,

Whats the meaning of sign in initial condition, for example if I add -5m/s as velocity in Z-velocity as initial value, does fluent consider all the domain with magnitude velocity of 5 m/s but in negative direction of Z axis in the coordinate system?

What about boundary condition? If I add -5 m/s in velocity inlet boundary condition, does it mean that fluent consider the flow velocity with the magnitude of 5 m/s and perpendicular to the boundary and toward exiting from the boundary (regardless of coordinate system)?

Thanks so much for the helps
