Inability to compile udf in fluent

Dear community,

I am planning the simulation within ANSYS Fluent 13.0, in Windows 7, of a flow around an oscillating cylinder, including several other boundary conditions. I also have a MSVS 2008 currently installed.

I apologize for drawing up such a fully itemized subject, but i really cannot compile the udf, and the "nmake" issue is always present. I followed several guidelines, including the current portal's "FAQs" (regarding the Environment "Path" settings) as well as guidelines given in older threads in this forum, but i can never solve it!

I was wondering, whether would be an alternative guide for resolving this issue (if someone has implemented such thing) and i could have access to it. Any other help would make very thankful, as well.

Thank you in advance

Best regards and wishes for the New Year

"alternative guide" stands for anything newer and a bit more analytical.
