Unsteady Fluent simulation

HI,

I am doing shock tube simulations in fluent and would like to know how we can know the actual time(physical time or time in real world) when the simulation is running?

I am new to unsteady simulations so I need some help.
Ansys fluent is being used.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi,

You can be aware of the current time from the residual monitoring window (down-left) or form the console either.

Bests,

hi

The above way is highly appreciable
alos when you see the vectors or contours you can see the time of the simulation at the left hand down side of the window.

Hope that helps

please go through more details

As you know the introduced turbulent models in Fluent conduct the problem to divers results, if you want help please clarify it accordance to the following items:

1- the dimension of your problem
2- 2 or 3 D
3- number of mesh that you used
4- the turbulent method that have been diverged
5- did you used Spallart-Allmaras method please tell me the latest resuduals
6- did you get a convergence around 10-2 for RSM

i am awaited for your short answers
