solution divergence in periodic simulation

Hi,

I'm attempting to simulate a single blade of a double-bladed wind turbine, using the periodic boundary condition. However, I have been having a case of divergence in the solution (Error: divergence detected in AMG solver: x-momentum). This does not occur with a full rotor steady-state solution, so I'm guessing there is something wrong with the periodic BC.

1) I'm not sure if this is advisable, but I have 3 pairs of periodic surfaces (simply because there is a region of a very fine mesh around the blade)
2) I specified the pressure gradient of the periodic condition as 0.

I'm not sure what I've done wrong, since the full rotor simulation has basically made use of a similar mesh.

I would appreciate any help.

Hi Abdelqadr

I'm face the same problem, my geometry is (1/3) wind turbine blade with two periodic face....

could i know if you solve your problem yet? and how if yes ?

thanks
