plotting the boundary layer profile at trailing edge
 

Hi everyone,

I am simulating flow over NACA 0015 airfoil in Fluent to study the Wing in Ground effect. I wish to obtain the velocity profile at the trailing edge of the airfoil. I guess on using the 'XY plot' option one can plot on the domain boundaries only. Is there any way the plot for the velocity profile at a non boundary edge?

you have to create a line and plot the velocities on that. if your simulation is 2d you can easly do it by an isosurface of constant x

Oh yes! I can create a new surface! I just didn't notice I could create a new surface. I thought the only options I had was to choose from the given named selctions in the XY plot option.
