continuity equation not satisfiable

Hello,

I m modelling turbulent flow through a diffuser. The results are fine. But the continuity equation is not satisfied. What could be the problem? Could it be due to the turbulent energy dissipation? I ve used a velocity inlet and pressure outlet condition. What are the conditions under which the continuity equation does not apply?

Not satisfied means is it not converging. Are you not getting the drop in the residual. Please eloborate.

thanks for the reply.

The solution is converging. It converges in 150 iterations. The maximum no. of iterations is 300.
The flow is viscous, incompressible and has a 1% turbulent intensity level
