Hi

how can we test and be sure mesh is correct in terms of skewness?
i meshes my model and it has 75% of mesh between .9 and .95,
how can i fix it? the mesh is tetrahedral and i can not make it finer..

-mAx- will become famous soon enough
in Fluent do a check mesh >> http://my.fit.edu/itresources/manual...ug/node827.htm

in Gambit you can examine your mesh with http://my.fit.edu/itresources/manual....htm#gc_exmesh
In Gambit you can display all elements which skewness is between your 2 values, by entering values in "lower" and "upper" limits (range)

thanks for reply,
i actually use icem,
my question is the criteria, what is the criteria or role of thumb for that?
if my skewness is less than .98 then is it acceptable??
for my model:
75% skewness .9 to .95
0.5% .95 to 1

when i fine the mesh the skewness become even worst,
plz let me know..
