the "continuity" Residual

Hallo every body,

I am running a laminar simulation with Fluent. the residuals window shows that all my parameters are fluctuating around a value which is smaller 10-3 only the continuity residual which is fluctuating around value smaller than 10-01. can I say that my Simulation has been converged? and what is this continuity residual?

thanks for help

Regards

10^-3 ( default in Fluent and it can be change ) value is convergence criterion ( that we desire ) and i think that 10^-1 is so high ! .
Did you run " First Order Implicit" in the " Transient Formulation" ?

The density residual gives you the error in your RHS of the continuity equation. 10 to the minus 1 seems to be pretty high, check your boundary conditions, often they prevent further convergence in density!

you can try it with first order discretization settings.
