Iso-clip to an iso-clip surface

I already have a iso-clip surface which limits my z-coordinate to a specific range.
I now want to add iso-clip surfaces on this clip-z-coordinate-surface. But I always get the errors 'Error Oject: #f'
I want to do this becaus my surface is curved and I want just a part on this surface to be evaluated. Or do I habe to change my grid, so that I only have to use one clip-surface? (e.g. split the grid to that the z-coordinate limit is not any more nessessary).

Another solution would be to add lines, but i could not finde something lime length-averaged ....

Thanks in advance
