Hi,

I have a fluid that is divided into different domains for the purpose of applying different sized mesh to each zone. I made the fluid geometry as a single 2d part, and used projection lines to create the different domains in Ansys Workbench. I now want to import my mesh into Fluent and make one of the interior domains a dynamic mesh zone, and the other domains stationary. Since I have a dynamic mesh zone that is surrounded by a stationary mesh, do I have to create a sliding interface? If so, how do I create one? I think I need to create bounds for each interior subdomain and specify them as interfaces, but I don't know how to create boundaries to my interior subdomain. Thanks for any help you can provide.

hi Did you manage to solve this problem? If so could you tell me whether a sliding interface is needed?
I have the same question you had a couple of years back!
Any help is appreciated. Thank you
