hi
A viscous fluid is present in the bottle.when the bottle is inverted, due to the action of the gravity the the fluid should go out.I want to know the time required to empty the bottle.
Plz guide me the approach and boundary condition for this project

Just use gravity and some liquid in the bottle

make the bottle inverted
time should be around 1-2 sec in which bottle will get empty

Yes definetely you can do that
but how do you know that your simulatuion is converged .

Hi
The solution will not converge because continuity equation will not balance i am running the solution till all the liquid is completely out of the bottle...It took around 1.5s to empty the bottle...

let the solution converge then you can see the velocity and pressure and phase countours after the siumulation is converged
