Can I use a volume sink instead of a pressure outlet?

Hello,

I don't want to put a physical face on my domain boundary for meshing problems. Can I cut a zone out of my interior volume and make it a sink instead? A source volume (for energy, scalar etc) is easy but what about a sink that would remove mass of air and species/scalar?

Don't hesitate to ask for clarification,
Help is very much appreciated,
Regards.
