Hi all, I'm e beginner with FLUENT.. I need to konow how to set up Fluent to mix air and water in a pipe with 2 different intlet that converge into one outlet. What I have to do?
Thank in advance!

hiŁ¬
1. import your mesh in Fluent .
2. in the object tree ,double-click models>muliphae-off.
3. choose mixture and number of eulerian phase is set to 2 in the dialog box.
Okay,good luck !

Thanks for your replay! But in boundary condition for intlet water and intlet air
Which option i must select to define if it s water or air?

Ok! But if i set phase: air for air intlet and respectly for water and mixture for other parts of my geometry, whith k-e models for turbolence the programm diverges at 10-15 th step.. How it s wrong?
Thanks for your time!

Ok tell me all options you wanna see.
I set:

Models->MultiPhase: Mixture (2 Eulerian..)
Models-> Viscous Model: k-epsilon (2 equations)

For boundary condition all set to wall except for: water intlet (velocity intlet), air intlet (pressure intlet) and outlet (pressure outlet)
but if i set in the boundary condition pannel a different option in the phase menu ex: phase 1 (air) instead of mixture most option don't appear in the edit menu:
