hi all,
Please, need advice on setting up RAM memory for CFD ( mainly CFX), So is it better to have to sticks per Channel or 1 stick per channel.
The Workstation is DIMM and supports 2 sticks per channel . 4 channel in sum for each processor.
Then for example should i use 1 stick of 16 Gb per channel or 2x8Gb per channel ??????.
Thank you for help

For performance there is not much difference at all, maybe 1-2%. You should base your choice off other factors like price, or future upgrades instead.
Just be sure all channels are filled, and filled evenly for a balanced memory configuration.
