Epyc vs Xeon Skylake SP

I got the Supermicro H11DSi. The only difference: they shipped the bulk version instead of the retail version I ordered. Because apparently, retail version is still not available. But the retailer was kind enough to send the missing parts from the retail package at their own expense. So I am keeping this board for now. There are still a few issues I have to take care of before using the system for benchmarks.

I already stumbled upon these Intel benchmarks. Honestly, I would not trust any of the values they post or at least take them with a huge grain of salt. Intel is feeling pressure, and they already pulled some questionable marketing stunts surrounding AMDs new CPUs. Remember the "glued together" presentation?
The fact that Intel did not manage to outperform AMD in memory-bound workloads in their own tests is indeed very interesting.

I am also choosing now between Intel Gold Xeon of AMD EPYC dual CPU hardware.

What actual performance in CFX/Fluent you receive? What was the final price and parts list?
