iolio is on a distinguished road
Hi Guys,

I'm having a hard time finding actual result comparisons for AMD's Threadripper for use in ANSYS Fluent. I have seen several results detailing that TR and its baby bro Ryzen performs not so well in EULER Star (1, 2). However, im led to believe that EULER Star is well optimised for intel.

Ive found an Arabic comparison for the 1950x (16c 32t) and the 7900x (10c 20t (3)(graph attached), seems the lower core similar price 7900x squares off well with the 1950x (all else considered equal). I recall finding a polish site that had a similar result but i can no longer find it.

I didnt want to be the guy making a this v that cpu thread, but I cant find the info anywhere for this specific case.

TLDR: Fluent Cpu choice ~$1000, assuming same RAM amount/speed etc.
