All,

I am new to the forum and hope to learn from the various discussions. I am a long time FloTHERM user (since 2003).

I don't see much discussion about FloTHERM on this forum but I figured I'd ask. I see a lot of discussion about Xeon's vs. EPYC's at the moment. Has anyone done any testing between them using the latest version(s) of FloTHERM.

At this point I'm not even sure that their solver is well suited for the EPYC's but those details are a little out of my league. I have a call into Mentor to see what info they have on that topic.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

I'm building a 2x 7281 server for FloTHERM. When I checked with Mentor about a month ago, they had no data on Epyc performance. But, they did confirm the software will at least work with 32c/32t.
