Hi guys, i would kindly ask you for an advice about this setup:
It would be used for external aerodynamics CFD, software like openfoam and so on. I think we have had enough discussions about the Treadripper 2990WX already. It's no good.
Upgrade from 2x E5-2687W v3 for Comsol 5.3 electromagnetic simulations Building a "home workstation" for ANSYS Fluent 2990wx falls far behind the dual way E5-2696V4 system in CFD simulations Epyc 7301 ws In the 4000€ price range, you can already get a system with 2 Epyc 1st gen CPUs these days.
