Hi dear friends
I'm working with 2 cpu xeon 2680 v3. I set 32 core in parallel processing ansys fluent. Cpu temperatures are 76 and 74 C. Are cpu temperatures okay? |

Yes, that's perfectly safe.
What's probably not optimal is using 32 threads for Fluent. Your CPUs have 12 cores each, so I would not expect any benefit from using more than 24 threads. Using more than that can even lead to lower performance. Personally, I still disable Hyperthreading for machines that run mostly MPI parallel CFD codes like Ansys Fluent. |
