Hey everyone, I know that dual EPYC 7002 processors are great for CFD. However,I also know that dual EPYC 7002 series mobos with little to no compromises are very rare, but I recently saw a twitter post from Gigabyte Server official about the release of their new dual SP3 motherboard. However, I have not been able to find anything about the release date and price. I figured I would start this thread to get the word out there that there might be an option for people looking for dual SP3 mobos. Also, I hope that this forum can become a place where we can stay updated about info on this mobo. Thanks.

This shop in Germany claims availability. Shipping within 2-5 days: https://www.sona.de/gigabyte-mainboa...b0-422662.html
It's not cheap though at almost 900€. I would not be too comfortable spending that much on an Epyc Rome board, with Epyc Milan allegedly happening this year. And given AMDs and their board partners track record for compatibility between CPU generations, not knowing whether it will support these.
Sure, If you really need all the Rome features that the Supermicro H11DSi rev.2 does not have, it's a different story. But for CFD in particular, I don't really see where these features would matter.

Woah that is expensive. Yeah I agree, after seeing the price, the Supermicro seems like the best bet. Where did you purchase yours? I saw one on Newegg, but it does not say rev.2 on it so I was not sure if it was the right one. The link to the Newegg product is shown below:

Coincidentally, I bought mine from this exact retailer. At the time, it was about the only place to get it at a reasonable price. But that was way before rev.2 was a thing.
Edit: no, wait, that's where I ordered initially. Then after some time it dawned on me that actual availability did not coincide with what they claimed in their online shop, and I ended up ordering here: https://www.jacob.de/
When in doubt which version your retailer might be shipping, I would try to ask them before making the purchase.
