Hi. I would like to ask, ecc memory correction is required to doing FEM simulations ? (mechanic, forming)

I read that for example Epyc motherboard support ECC memory so if I will install non-ecc memory in Epyc motherboard it will be works ?

No, won't work. Well you might get non-ECC memory to work if it is registered memory. But those are rare, and there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to use registered memory without ECC. It is best to take a look at which memory types your CPU and motherboard support, before you start evaluating whether you need ECC. More often than not, that decision is made for you.
tldr: only use reg ECC or LRDIMM with ECC for Epyc CPUs.

In general, you don't necessarily need ECC for anything. Memory without error checking and correction works just the same, as long as no errors occur.
Whether your application should only be used on a machine with ECC memory is a different story entirely. But it's a rabbit hole you don't need to go down if the platform of choice is incompatible with "unbuffered" memory anyway. In which case you just get reg ECC RAM and start computing.
