choose AMD CPU of workstation for ANSYS fluent

Hello,
I have experienced in ANSYS fluent on my workstation with Intel i9-10940x CPU (14 cores and 28 threads) for 1 year.
Now, my students hesitate to choose which CPU for new workstation.
In this picture, it seems that AMD Ryzen 9 5950x (16 cores and 32 threads) is the best CPU in this ranking list (for "one" single core test ?).
I want to know how about "AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X" which has more cores (24 cores and 48 threads). Does it get better efficiency than AMD Ryzen 9 5950x ?
But to my knowledge now, when I choose higher number of processes (ex: 48 threads) than actual number of cores (ex: 24) in parallel setting, it seems efficiency doesn't speed up than choosing lower number of processes (like lower than actual number of cores, ex: 12, 20, 24):confused::confused:.
So, have anyone can give suggestion or knowledge for me ?
Thanks!
