I am a beginner in using CFD FLUENT. May somebody tell me what are the basic requirements of the CPU to support this modeling tool?Or, in order to run this modeling tool smoothly, what are the required specification of the CPU?

There is no rules for this... it depends on the model, mesh, problem type and so on.... as minimum you'l need 2GB RAM and CPU not later then 2006
