What resources are strong about strenghts/weaknesses of models?
 

I don't want to ask yet another "good beginner book" question, but a big drawback of some research papers and the wiki is that there's not too much discussion about the strengths and weaknesses of models like in:

Based on my observation about the significance of comparisons on models as a source of proof of viability, I think that comparisons among models are more useful than studying models in isolation.

But what books or resources might be strong in this kind of information?

Are scholarly search engines with the keyword "comparison+CFD+model" or something my only option?
