What kind of turbomachinery? What type of flow?

I would like to have validation axial flow turbomachinery both laminar and turbulent.

Re: Validation Cases for Turbomachinery

that's still not specific enough. are you looking for compressors, fans, turbines.... subsonic, transonic.... ?

NASA rotors 37 and 67 might be of interest.

Re: Validation Cases for Turbomachinery

Dear Mani,

I am looking for both turbines and compressors. More than standard results, I am looking for the blade co-ordinates, which are difficult to get. If you have NASA 37 or 67 data, kindly mail to me.

Regards and thanks in advance

Suneesh,

I don't have the data in electronic form but they are published in unclassified reports. For NASA rotor 67, which is a transonic fan, look for NASA Technical Paper 2879. You can obtain it from NASA directly, or possibly from your library.I don't know the reference for rotor 37, which is a compressor, but I am sure you can find that on google.

Thank you Terence, what about turbine test cases?
