Plotting 2D FVM results in MATLAB

Hi,

I'm searching for a option that I can plot the solution in the center of a control volume.

The function "surf" in MATLAB plots a mesh for my 2D domain, but the vertices of the mesh contain the physical values. I want that the physical values are plotted in the center of that mesh. Anybody knows how to do this?

Or is it possible to cover a plot with a arbitrary mesh by myself?

Hello,
I had the same type of need, and to be able to do what you want here, I interpolated the physical variables at the center of this triangle based on those peaks and then I plot the results with matlab simply.
