Hydrodynamic forces and moments on submarines

Hello all. I'm trying to calculate hydrodynamic forces and moments on a submarine maneuvring just below the surface. (MSc Thesis) I will use FLUENT. Does someone have useful information and/or references that I could use. Thanks /Peo

Dear client,

I recall there was an article in one of this years issues (or last year's issues to be safe) of Journal of Fluid Engineering, which was regarding hydrodynamic forces and moments acting on a submarine at different yaw (or pitch) angle, although it did not include the free surface effects, I'm sorry that I can't refer exact issue.

You could have a look at:

Good luck,
