Dear Friends,

I have been developing code for LES of Channel flow. So far i have implemented : Time Discretization CN ,Spatial Discret UPwind Scheme, Pressure Poison Eqn. I ensured sufficient grid resolution (from literature). However, I have so many problem while running code. Here i was giving proper initial conditions from DNS data. Could some one help me out how to go head with the present state. 1. I perhaps making mistake when solving pressure poisom eqn. I am now using Successive Over relaxation Tech, how to find optimum value of omega for quick convergence.

I would appreciate if some one could forward to throw some light on it. Regards Sachin

Dear Sachin

Go ahead...you are doing a fascinating job. I think we CFD scietific community must extensively discuss on this issue. I have myself done lot of work in this area.

I am sending my code to your email but there i haven't used poisson instead i am using simplec.

Even i would like to see other researchers coming ahead and share their valuable experience with us all.Probably,we can form a group.

all the best
