Turbulence Theory

Can anyone introduce me good references about turbulence and transition theory to explain them well. I read some parts of "A first course in turbulence" by Tennekes and take a look at some others, but unfortunately, they are complicated and make me a little confused.

thanks in advance;
mehdi

Turbulence is a complicated matter ... all books are quite complex ... have you tried also the books of Pope and that of Mathieu?
