Solution scheme: 1st, 2nd order, etc in momentum eqs

Hi, I have a question.

When I choose a solution scheme for the momentum equations, which variables are going to be interpolated in that way?. Just the velocities? The pressure too? Or the pressure follows the "pressure scheme"? (in fluent)

And, when I have big fluctuations in velocity, I'm aware that the 2nd order aproach will give me a more realistic solution. But, can I get a good solution with a 1st order scheme just refining the mesh?

Thanks in advance

2nd order spatial discretization is recommended.
