at what Reynolds number for non-Newtonian fluids flow that the laminar region end ??
Hi all My investigation is about non-Newtonian fluids flow through the sudden expansion duct in both laminar and turbulent region My problem .... i do not know at any Reynolds number that the laminer region finish and at what value the turbulent will begin???? .. my work will complete if you help me .. i need to know at what Reynolds number that the laminar region end??? thank you |
I need your help please ......
for flat plate it should be more than 5 x 10^5 and for pipe flow it should be more than 2300
thank u so much abhaykrsahu for your help. but is this information true for non_Newtonian fluids ? or it is for newtonian fluid?
its for newtonian fluid....in case of non newtonian fluid which are highly viscous...they can be considered as laminar flow..... i do not have any idea about specific values
