Guidance regarding CFD for final year project

Hello Friends!

I'm a Mechanical and Automation Engineering Student currently in my Final Year( 4th Year) of my undergraduate studies. As a part of my curriculum I have to submit a Mini Project and A Major Project in my seventh and eighth semester. As I have an interest and foundation knowledge of Mechanical Designing, I was hoping to do a project under the same genre. I recently, came across the stealth technology being used in aircrafts ( like F-117 Nighthawk) and wanted to do CFD analysis for the design (i.e. what factors make it stealth and how does it help or affect aircraft's flight) and also how these considerations can be applied to land and underwater vehicles.

May be my thought is crazy.... I seriously have no clue as this the first time I'm sharing my idea. So all i have to ask is some guidance from the experts in field of CFD who could guide me as to where to start learning basics of CFD as currently i'm having a summer break and wish to do as much research i can do on this topic so as to be ready with a synopsis as my session starts.

Also, if someone could help me look into some other topic related to designing that I can work on for my project I would be really thankful.

Hoping to hear soon.

Regards

No idea is crazy...the stealth technology or LO technology(low observable technology) which cover a range of techniques used with personnel, aircraft, ships, submarines, and missiles, to make them less visible (ideally invisible) to radar, infrared, sonar and other detection methods.
A big part of this technology belongs to the materials used in the aircraft.
and the minor part is for aerodynamic design.. you can model the second part with cfd softwares..
