Hi everyone
I applied SST k-omega turbulence model on the code, I could simulate steady, incompressible turbulent flow past over Two-dimensional zero-pressure-gradient flat plate. first of all I should mention some details about grid. computations were performed on a grids of size 273×193. dimension of domains are −0.33333 < x < 2 and 0 < y < 1. grid spacing (wall normal direction) was 1 × 10−6.
according to my results for Re=2e6 and comparison with theoretical formula used for Cf (Skin Friction coefficient, Cf= 0.025Re exp(-1/7)), you can see in attached file result is not very good. but in U+-Log Y+ results is good I think based on numerical result that other obtained (
Rumsey and Spalart) specially in sublayer.
So my question is why in sublayer U+ profile is completely match with theoretical profile but cf is not? and do you think what problem exist?
