flow past a step ?

hi,

I'm trying to solve the 2D NS equations over a step as a part of my undergrad project.Could someone tell me if there is any problems as such in solving the problem numerically ? if yes how do I circumvent it ?

Thanking you Thampy

Re: flow past a step ?

(1). Flow over a step ( normally a backward facing step ) is a standard test case for Navier-Stokes code. (2). If you perform the necessary journal search first, you should be able to find tons of information.
