Stretched Grids

My domain varies between 0 and 1. I want a grid that clusters points around 0.35 and stretches near the boundaries. Can anyone provide me with a function to do the above or a reference I can look up. Appreciate your help. Bhargav

Thompson's web book has formulas.

You can construct a function yourself. What you want is a function ξ(x) such that dξ/dx is numerically large near x=0 and x=1 and is numerically small near x=0.35
