Hi,

Does anyone know where I can find the mass diffusion coefficient (D) of methane in air? Possibly as a function of stoichiometry and temperature. I need it to calculate the laminar flame thickness(delat_l) from delta_l = D/SL , where SL is the laminar flame thickness.

A reference to a book/tables would be great.

Bird, Stewart and Lightfoot, "Transport Phenomena", Wiley.

Binary Diffusion. Look at ch. 16.
