hello,
I just started my PhD research and I'm new to CFD. My topic is Design and development of Micro gas turbine.I have in mind to design my Geometry and concentrate on the turbo machinery for further flow analysis,so i saw a tutorial in Ansys (Multiple Reference Frame (MRF) feature in CFD) which i followed and studied.I tried to find the mesh file or the tutorial on how they mesh the centrifugal blower unit which if i have i will understand how to mesh my geometry which will be a 3D model a stage radial compressor plus casing.Please can anyone here help me out with ideas on where to find such material and also for turbo machinery; when i will analysis the flow what best to use CFX or Fluent? Thank you in advance. |
