Hi,

I know that the Euler equations are inviscid. Are they irrotational too?

Thanks

No, Euler equations have rotational solutions also. Since viscosity is absent the vorticity can arise through shocks, baroclinic mechanism or non-conservative body forces (Just take the Euler equations and apply the curl operator to it to derive the vorticity transport equation)
